I found a piece, not an opinion piece, a full opinion column written by an employee, I don't really know the position of the writer, but it wasn't in with the other whiny opinion letters.
Her name is Julie Espinosa and she wrote something fantastic! Here is the link. I highly encourage you all to take 2 minutes and read it, it won't even take two minutes. She lightly or heavily criticizes BYUSA and the administration, and Mormon culture in general (depending on how you look at it).
The middle part when she quotes Brigham Young and Orson Scott Card is amazing. You can make up your own mind, I certainly don't agree with every sentence, but it was a breath of fresh air to read it.
