The problem is that the way the MPAA rates movies makes it impossible to use as criteria to judge a film's morality. Enter the Jerman Motion Picture Association. The JMPA system looks at not only content of a film, but what that content teaches. Before reading through the film reviews on this site, you need to follow this link and read the explanation of the review process.This post about content is also helpful. Lastly, I can only recommend that you watch a movie on your own and attempt to rate it using this system to understand what this is all about.
